    Dr.rer.nat (Fast-track)

Training module for Dr. rer. nat. (PhD) for candidates with a B.Sc. (Fast-Track)

Motivated by our positive experience in the former RTG1660 fast-track doctoral program concerning research output and reducing the time to finish the dissertation, we will also offer a fast-track doctoral degree program for six talented candidates with a bachelor’s degree. During their one-year qualification phase, the fast-track candidates will participate in lectures, seminars, and events organized by the RTG and the newly established Master’s program in „Integrated Immunology“ (iIMMUNE).

After matching with one of the 17 projects developed by the RTG researchers for the second Dr. rer. nat. cohort (3.5 and 3.6), collecting at least 60 ECTS points, and passing an exam required by the doctoral dissertation bylaws, the fast-track students will begin with their thesis project as regular members of the second cohort of Dr. rer. nat. candidates on January 1, 2024.
