    International Partners

    Collaboration is a crucial part of successful science, something that we nurture through our extensive network of national and international partners.

    During the qualification phase of the fast track program a 3 month-long lab rotation to an international lab is obligatory for the fast-track students to help build their scientific network

    For all Dr. rer. nat. doctoral researchers we support optional external lab visits if this allows them to learn a technique or get familiar with a model system that is not well established in Erlangen but is essential to complete their thesis. Several RTG researchers alongside their PIs have already set-up such collaborations to elucidate a question addressed in the respective doctoral thesis project.
